Described as an extremely enjoyable romp through science, magic and the science of magic, his show invites plenty of audience participation to support his well-executed tricks, and builds to an astonishing, ‘how did he do that’ finale.

For ages seven to 107 years, the show will start at 7.30pm, on Friday, November 11, at Wooler’s Cheviot Centre.

And as a bonus Oliver will be offering a family magic workshop for ages seven-plus on the Saturday morning after the show, from 11am to noon.

Magic consultant Oliver has worked on the Discovery Channel’s Breaking Magic and collaborated with artists.

“We’re always looking for something different as part of our festival fund-raising and we think this Highlights’ show will be amazing,” said Alison Lloyd-Harris, chairman of the Glendale Festival committee.

Tickets for the show cost £9 adults, £8 concs, £6 child and £25 family.

Tickets for the workshop are £5 adult, £4 under 16, £16 family ticket. Workshop participants get £1 off show tickets. They are available on 01668 282406 or www.highlightsnorth.co.uk
