AN holistic therapy business has added another string to its bow after launching treatment and wellbeing workshops.
Spiritual therapist Sonia Redpath opened Miracles Wellness on Fenkle Street in May this year after a huge success at her previous premises in the town.
Six months later and the business has continued to grow and diversify.
Sonia has launched a qualification scheme for those interested in learning angelic reiki which then gives pupils the chance to practise the therapy themselves.
A personal development workshop, which looks at the way personal choices affect work, relationships and life, is also to take place. One due to take place this month is already sold out while another is due in February.
Numerology readings are also offered.
“A lot has come out of moving to these premises,” Sonia said.
“The street doesn’t get as much walk-in trade but I have tried to build it up. And now it is starting to show its worth. We haven’t got all the eggs in one basket but it seems to be working.
“We are using facilities in the town and they are earning out of that.
“We use the youth hostel for the workshops and they have been fantastic. They have a brilliant classroom and they couldn’t have been more helpful.”
A social group, Spiritual People Aloud (SPA), was also set up for those interested in alternative therapies and after being launched in the Gazette, 17 people joined.
Now that group has 90 members and meets once a month for meditation, talks and to share knowledge and advice.
In the new year, the venue for SPA will move from The Centre on Fenkle Street to the community centre.
