The son of a Northumberland woman who went missing on Boxing Day has made a special video, appealing for the public's help to find her.
Sally Allan, 59, from Errington Road, Darras Hall, Ponteland, has not been seen since the early hours of December 26 when she left her home address sometime before 3am. She is described as white, 5ft 7" tall, slim build, with short silver/grey hair and may be wearing gold-rimmed glasses. She was believed to be wearing pink pyjamas, a cream-coloured fleece and cream-coloured Regatta waterproof anorak. It is out of character for Sally to go missing and her family are worried about her.
A Search 4 Sally Facebook group has been set up on social-networking site Facebook as part of the appeal to find her, and, about an hour ago, a special video featuring her son Clive was posted on the page.
In the video, he says: "Please help us find our mother. Please contact 101 (the police number) if you have any information. Please check your sheds, gardens and any outhouses. Please share this video as widely as possible. Thank you everyone for all your support, it has been overwhelming and a massive support to the family. Please keep looking everyone Thank you."
Today, a Northumbria Police spokeswoman said that officers are continuing to carry out inquiries to locate Mrs Allan. Officers are appealing for Sally to make contact with them, or anyone who recognises her to call police straightaway. Anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101, quoting log number 258 26/12/15.
