Pupils at Amble Links First School had a cracking good time at the end of term.
Parents, staff and friends donated more than 120 Easter eggs for the PTA chocolate raffle which raised over £370.
There were more than 75 entries to the decorated egg competition and among the winners was Coquet Eggland, complete with its own egg puffins
Staff and children all went to school in pyjamas. This was organised by the school council and helped raise more than £100 for Raihana, an Afghan girl sponsored by the school.
A number of children went to St Cuthbert’s Church in Amble to take part in the Experience Easter event.
Members of the congregation, dressed as people from Biblical times, took them through different aspects of the Easter story, including the Last Supper and Jesus on the cross.
