SLIDESHOW: A grand day out at Thropton Show
The rain showers didn't dampen the spirits of the local community as they enjoyed one of the highlights of their year.
Sack races, sponge cakes and scones - all were among the treats to see at today's 102nd Thropton Horticultural and Industrial Society Show.
Show-goers dodged the showers to watch the Simonside Fell Race and visit the many outdoor stalls and attractions as well as going in the tent to see the stunning display of local produce and crafts.
