The venue will be dressed for the day as a wedding marquee with special carpeting and lighting and there will be ample free parking available.

There is an opportunity for up to 100 local businesses to exhibit and as places are limited they will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Any company interested is encouraged to sign up early to avoid disappointment. There will be a minimal cost of £40 for the day.

The event is being organised jointly by Active Northumberland tourism business development and Northumberland County Council’s registration service with the aim of encouraging more couples to book their weddings in Northumberland.

Those wishing to attend can fill in a short application form which is available at www.northumberland.gov.uk/weddingfair
