Showing racism the red card
Former pros Dean Gordon (Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough) and David Corner (Sunderland), visited the school, as part of the Show Racism the Red Card initiative.

Gordon and Corner did sports activities with the students, then they had discussion groups with the teaching team of Helen Gray, Claire Rogerson and Cat Hutchinson. Show Racism the Red Card is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity.
It provides educational workshops, training sessions, multimedia packages and a whole host of other resources, all with the purpose of tackling racism in society.
