ShiShi's marathon effort for HospiceCare

Local district nurse ShiShi Ord ran the London Marathon last month in memory of her father, Graham.

She completed the race in three hours and 35 minutes and her efforts helped to raise more than £750 for HospiceCare North Northumberland.

ShiShi praised the work of HospiceCare and said that the charity has played a huge part in her life, both personal and professional, and she wanted to give something back.

HospiceCare has centres in Alnwick and Berwick and is the main provider of palliative care in north Northumberland.
