Series of concerns passed on to council officers at meeting

A number of issues were discussed as parish councillors from Seahouses met two senior county-council officers.

In the meeting with head of technical services David Laux and locality development manager Kevin Bartlett, concerns that were flagged up included the need to clean out the gullies; potholes; road signs in North Sunderland; parking in Chapel Row; grit bins; out-of-action streetlights; speed signs outside the schools; advertising signs in the car park; the introduction of motorcycle bays in the car park; the changes in the street-cleaning regime; and the repainting of dog-fouling signs on pavements.
