Teenager Sam Harrison has been named 2018 Suzuki Apprentice of the Year.
The 19-year-old joined Blackshaws (Alnwick) in July 2016, coming straight from the town’s Duchess’s Community High School.
He has just completed a three-year Suzuki Parts Apprenticeship, which involved block-release training, as well as practical experience in the Alnwick parts department.
Sam’s college tutor, Paul Jackson, said: “Sam has shown the commitment and work ethic that every tutor dreams of.
“Sam has consistently scored high assignment and exam results putting him ahead of the required targets, coming out on top in all areas of the qualification.
“He is a credit to Blackshaws and Suzuki and will go a long way in the motor trade.”
