Running Wild in the city!

Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils from St Michael's CE Primary School had a fun-packed day out at the Great North Museum (Hancock) and the Theatre Royal.

At the museum, the children learned about life in Roman times (Y3), Ancient Greece (Y4) and evolution (Y5).

After lunch, at the Theatre Royal, it was Michael Morpurgo’s Running Wild – an adventure story about life in Indonesia, which features a number of animal puppets.

Headteacher Gavin Johnson said: “The children’s behaviour was exemplary and we are very proud of them all.”
