AN award-winning fashion accessories store re-opened earlier this month, following an extensive refurbishment.

Gray’s, on Castle Street, in Warkworth, has undergone a dramatic revamp, transforming it into a ‘new-look shop’.

The store, which has a client base from far and wide, stocks a range of quality goods, from scarves, necklesses and bangles to Italian leather bags.

Owner Tim Mohon said: “The business has grown over the last six years and has built up a clientele from throughout the North East and beyond and I felt the time was right to update everything.

“It is always good to keep ahead of the game and keep the shop looking refreshed.

“It is a new-look shop.”

The store employs people from throughout the area.

Tim added: “At busy times we have got full and part-time staff, all employed from within the locality.”

He added that Gray’s tried to use locally-based companies where possible during the refurbishment.

Thanks have been given to those who helped out, including Willie Gibson Electrical Contractors, Sample Building Services, Davidson & Son, Highwells Interiors, Pencott Carpets, MKM Building Supplies, Alnwick and Alnwick Timber.

Gray’s is open seven days a week, from 10am to 5pm.
