A CAMPAIGN is being launched to raise awareness of Shared Lives Northumberland and recruit carers in the Alnwick area.
Shared Lives Northumberland provides supported accommodation in a family home for adults who have a disability, mental health problem, or people who are unable to live alone because of their age.
The public awareness campaign is running until the beginning of June. This includes a radio campaign on Lionheart Radio with real-life Shared Lives Northumberland carers stories. It will be complemented by posters, leaflets distributed in libraries, GPs, community centres, and information in the press and on facebook.
The Shared Lives Northumberland service will also be at Alnwick Market on Saturday, May 12 and 19. For further information contact 01670 536400 or check out the website www.northumberland.gov.uk/sharedlives
