Every year a tree on Dove Crag, near Lordenshaws, Northumberland, is decorated for Christmas.
Martyn Tuckwell, who was in a group on a trip with Shepherds Walks, took this picture as members had mince pies and mulled wine there and sang carols.
Martyn wrote: “I have heard various groups claim the credit for decorating the tree: Lesbury Walkers, Alnwick Ramblers etc, but it is a delight to get to the top of the Crag and see it. It was lovely.”
