Quiz to raise funds for village festival

The team behind the annual Glendale Festival is organising a fund-raising quiz with all proceeds going towards this year's event.

It takes place on Saturday, April 23, at the Cheviot Centre – starting at 7.30pm.

The cost is £10 per person, which includes a pie and peas supper as well as the quiz, which is for teams with a maximum of four members.

With limited space in the hall, those interested are advised to book now to make sure they don’t miss out by contacting the tourist information centre on 01668 282123. There will be a limited bar and a raffle as well.
