Crowds turned out in force to catch a glimpse of Prince Charles in Amble, as part of his two-day visit to north Northumberland.
He arrived in the town shortly before 3pm and was greeted by cheers and applause from onlookers who lined the streets.
The Prince visited the Pride of Northumbria shop in Queen Street, where he met volunteers, artists, some local children and the Mad Jam Lady, Sandy Higson.
After that, he walked down Queen Street, stopping to talk and shake hands with many who turned out to see him, before meeting a number of community groups and organisations.
Before departing, the Prince was given a special sample of ice-cream from award-winning Spurreli Boutique Ice-cream.
