Preserving the past

The Sheep Tales project, which started in 2011 to record and preserve the memories of shepherds and farming communities living and working in rural north Northumberland, is looking for more material for its archive, be it old photos, documents or stories.

An informal event to gather new material and to hear stories will take place at the Cheviot Centre in Wooler on Friday, September 30, from 7pm until 9pm.

Refreshments available.
