The good causes getting a share of £27,500 from Alnwick Town Council grants

Awards ranging from £200 up to £10,000 have been given to 22 local organisations.

The recipients are: Alnwick Playhouse Trust (£10,000), Bailiffgate Museum (£2,500), Northumbrian CAB, Alnwick office (£2,500), HospiceCare North Northumberland (£2,500), North East Equality & Diversity (£1,000), Community@NE66 (£1,000), NE Credit Union (£500), Alnwick Arthritis Club (£200), Might Oaks (£400), Lionhearts (£500), The Weekly Business (£200), Alnwick & District Sports Council (£400), Alnwick Dolphins (£600), Alnwick Cricket Club (£600), Alnwick Juniors Football Club (£600), Alnwick Rugby Club (£600), Alnwick Bowling Club (£600), Alnwick & District Flower Club (£600), Alnwick Music Society (£400), Alnwick & District Choral Society (£400), Friends of the Bullfield Community Orchard (£500) and Loving Alnwick, town guides scheme (£500).

In addition, a payment of £1,563 has been made to Alnwick in Bloom.
