Northumberland County Council is introducing temporary traffic regulation orders on Market Place next to the Northumberland Hall and on Bondgate Within (outside Costa).

The 30-minute restrictions previously in place are being amended to two hours to encourage shoppers to spend more time in the town centre.

Motorists will not be allowed to return within three hours.
