No objections to proposed Seahouses home extension

Parish councillors have voiced no objection to revised plans for a home extension in Seahouses.

An application has been submitted by Colin Rutter for a proposed first floor extension over an existing kitchen at James Street.

A previous application was refused by Northumberland County Council.

Members of North Sunderland Parish Council said they had no objections, although they questioned whether the foundations would be strong enough.

The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership, a statutory consultee, has not objected.
