The facility at Tyne Riverside Country Park in Prudhoe is not operated by the council and the café will be opening until the Government says otherwise, and following all of the other guidelines in relation to COVID-19.

The council’s statement explained the parks themselves will remain open and that it ‘is encouraging those for whom it is safe to do so to visit and enjoy the fresh air and environments which they provide – while following guidance on social distancing’.

Park public toilets will also remain open.
