The quality of visibility at the Detchant junction to the north of Belford was raised by Coun Thomas Keys.
“I think it’s dangerous at night-time, you can’t see the junction,” he said.
Junction improvements are being carried out at the southern end of the village.
“It’s a Highways England issue but they’re doing junction improvements north of Ellingham so it’s a good time to ask,” said Coun Guy Renner-Thompson.
