POLITICS: lection fever has started

I suppose with a local election looming in May we can expect to see election fever starting, but I was surprised to see even at this early stage the type of articles that are starting to appear from the Labour Party.

In a recent leaflet distributed in Amble, which never mentions the county council, it talks of Amble doing well from a Labour council.

Unfortunately for the writer, Amble is not a Labour council.

However, I do agree with his statement that the town is doing well, despite it not being a Labour-controlled council.

I expect we will get more of this in the next few months.
