Police release CCTV image after fraud in Northumberland
Police investigating an incident of fraud in Northumberland have today released a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace.
Workmen came to an address in Hexham on Thursday, September 8, and offered to resurface the drive for free, but later demanded payment. No money was handed over.
Officers are carrying out inquiries into the incident and are appealing for the man pictured to get in contact.
The man or anyone who recognises him is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting reference 950 08/09/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
