Police appeal for help to trace high-risk missing man

Police are appealing for help from the public to trace a missing North Tyneside man.

Steven Jamieson, 27, of Cherry Tree Close, Killingworth, was last spoken to by his family at around 3.45pm this afternoon.

As a result his family contacted police with concerns for his welfare and officers have now launched an investigation to locate him.

Officers have so far been unable to trace Steven and are appealing for help from the public to trace him.

Steven is described as white, 5ft 11in, of slim build and with short dark brown hair. His clothing is not known at this time but he has tattoos on both of his arms.

It is believed Steven amy be driving a white Volvo C30 Sport - with a registration beginning J200 - and officers would ask anyone who sees that vehicle to get in touch.

Steven, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, should contact police straight away on 101 quoting log 797 02/05/17.
