Police appeal for witnesses to road collision in north Northumberland

Police are appealing for information after a two-vehicle collision in north Northumberland.

At around 11.25am on Friday, April 20, Northumbria Police received a report of a collision between a red Suzuki Jimny and a silver Suzuki Alto on the A1167 near Scremerston, just south of Berwick.

Emergency services attended and the driver and passenger of the Alto were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They have since been discharged.

The road was closed for two-and-a-half hours to allow officers to manage the incident.

Northumbria Police is now appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision, or has information that may be useful to police, to contact police.
