Police appeal after hit-and-run collision in Northumberland

It happened at 10.50am today when a blue Nissan Micra was hit by a black car on the A189 southbound between Bedlington and the Blyth turn off, causing substantial damage. The driver of the black car failed to stop and left the scene.

Inquiries are ongoing to locate and speak to the driver and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 331 08/02/16.
