A ceremony to honour fallen heroes will take place at Chevington Cemetery on Sunday.
Newcastle and Gateshead Branch of the RAF Association is holding the service as part of its RAF 100 commemorations.
It will start at 2pm and honour the 23 airmen from the British Commonwealth who died in Northumberland during the Second World War and are buried at the cemetery.
It will be attended by senior officers of the RAF and by representatives of the air forces of Australia, Canada and New Zealand, as well as Berwick MP Anne-Marie Trevelyan, veterans and local residents.
A Guard of Honour will be provided by RAF Boulmer, supported by uniformed members of the Northumbrian Universities Air Squadron and cadets of the Air Training Corps.
Wreaths will be laid, a remembrance cross placed on the grave of each airman and there will be a march-past.
