Playhouse to host folk convention
British folk-rock band Fairport Convention will be playing at the Alnwick Playhouse tomorrow night.
Formed in 1967, the band, still including founder member Simon Nicol, 65, are still going strong, and the gig, starting at 7.30pm, promises a host of songs for both newcomers and long-time fans.
