Members felt that some local residents may object to fencing being installed, but unless dog fouling was stopped, then the council would have no choice but to erect it, for the safety of children.

The clerk informed the parish council that any fencing should also have two gates, for anti-intimidation purposes.

The county council is consulting on changes to its dog-control orders.
