PLAN: No significant consultation

We note your article '˜How will Alnwick and Denwick develop over the next 14 years?'.

We are concerned that there doesn’t appear to have been significant consultation on the current referendum version of the Neighbourhood Plan.

This version does not include some of the information recommended in the external audit of the plan, in particular maps.

The website www.alnwick-and-denwick-plan.org.uk does not give links to all the previous versions and relevant documents, nor could we find any version change record. Some of the information can be found, but only with significant effort, on the Northumberland County Council website.

We are particularly concerned about the designation and timescale for greenfield development sites, which are substantially different from earlier versions of the plan.

Is the referendum a valid process in these circumstances?
