Show-goers braved the weather to flock to the annual Rothbury Food and Craft Festival, which featured a wide range of stalls and producers.

Tasty treats and handmade crafts were on the menu at the popular event, which was staged on Bank Holiday Monday.

A host of local traders exhibited at the fair and funds were raised for Alexa’s Animal Rescue and Daft as a Brush Cancer Care during the event.

A statement on the festival’s Facebook page read: ‘We’ve had wind and rain with cars getting stuck but we got through it and the sun came out and it turned out a lovely day.

‘Thank you to all traders who stuck with us and had patience while we got everyone on.

‘Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and came to the festival. We couldn’t have done it without everyone.’
