Picture perfect - this week's winning views of Northumberland

In fact, in the latest gallery of gorgeous pictures by our readers, two with the same theme enjoy places in the top four.

Darren Chapman’s golden dawn on Bamburgh beach was the most popular picture, with 453 likes on our Facebook page.

And in third place was Stephen Cooper’s shot from a similar place. His image attracted 265 likes.

An amazing photo was in second place. Pam Scott spotted a tree covered in icicles last weekend on the coast road between Alnmouth and Warkworth. She couldn’t believe her eyes, so had to go back for a second look! It had 281 likes.

Fourth spot went to another Darren Chapman picture – he captured the beauty of Alnmouth perfectly. This image was liked 185 times.
