Northumberland County Council celebrated International Women's Day on March 8 in a service organised in partnership with Emily Inspires!, at St Mary's Church, Morpeth, where suffragette Emily Wilding Davison is buried.
Pupils Ellie Young, Ellie Downswell and Kyra Halliwell are pictured at the suffragette’s grave with Emily’s relative Philippa Bilton.
