Person trapped as car overturns in Northumberland
One person was trapped after a car overturned near Embleton this afternoon.
Emergency services were called shortly before 3.15pm after reports of an accident on the A1339 near the Embleton Mill junction.
Police and the fire and rescue service were at the scene and the road was blocked.
A police spokeswoman said one person was trapped in the car, which was on its side, but there did not appear to be any serious injuries.
