Libraries across Northumberland are offering drop-in sessions for anyone who wants to try the experience.

The tour is organised by the BBC and Libraries Connected to coincide with the release of the 100 Novels that Shaped the World.

There are 10 different experiences to choose from and they are aimed at over 13 years old. Those aged between 13 and 16 will require permission from an adult.

The headsets are available at Alnwick Library on Saturday, March 14 from 2pm to 4pm (call in or to guarantee a place call the library on 01670 622156) or Berwick Library on Thursday, March 12 from 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm; and Friday 13 March from 12pm-2pm and 3pm-4.30pm (call in or to guarantee a place call the library on 01670 626097).
