Thief blatantly walks out of shop carrying two TVs without paying

Police are appealing for help to find two men they would like to speak to in connection with a reported theft of TV’s from Asda.

Shortly before 9pm on November 11, police received a report of a theft from Asda on Cowpen Road in Blyth.

It was reported that two TVs had been taken by a man who then left the shop without paying. He then met another man outside and the pair left the area.

An investigation was launched into the incident and officers have now identified two men they would like to speak to in connection with their inquiries.

They have released CCTV of the two men they would like to trace who were known to have been in the store at the time of the theft, and could have information that may assist with the investigation.

The men, or anyone who recognises them, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 141014C/19 or via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
