14. Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre
TripAdvisor says: 'Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre reopened to the public in June 2017 following a two-year closure for the creation of a new visitor centre. The new eco-friendly, straw bale building has been largely constructed by a dedicated team of volunteers. It includes a 2km circular walk, wildlife watching hides, cafe, toilets, disabled access paths around almost half of the reserve and baby changing facilities. Howick Hall, a Grade II* listed building, is the ancestral seat of the Earls Grey. It was the home of Charles, 2nd Earl Grey (1764–1845), who became Prime Minister and after whom Earl Grey tea is named.
