Survey reveals Blyth has third most car parking spaces among seaside towns

Blyth is among the UK’s seaside towns with the most parking spaces, according to new research.

The study revealed Blyth has 7,894 parking spaces, making it the third highest seaside town on the list.

It was, however, only the 29th best, with a very low percentage of spaces in the town being disability friendly.

The same study named Newcastle upon Tyne as the best UK place for diasbled parking, with 5.59% of the city’s parking recognised as accessible spaces.

The survey compared parking spaces in seaside towns across the UK.

The study was conducted by Bill Plant Driving School.
