Lottie Thompson, pictured, centre manager at Sanderson Arcade, said: “The sun is set to shine this weekend for our monthly Farmers’ Market. We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors for a fabulous day out in Morpeth.”

The monthly farmers’ market takes place on the first Saturday of every month and joins various other markets organised by the Morpeth markets team – including the weekly Wednesday Market and Monthly Street Food Market.

This summer, the team will also introduce a Northumberland Market on Saturday, July 17 and a Craft Market on Saturday, August 21.

A one-way system will be in place and hand sanitiser available upon entry to all Morpeth markets. It is also encouraged that all customers wear face coverings and pay contactless where they can.
