New national restrictions in England that came into force on Thursday effect how Remembrance Sunday activities can take place in line with current Covid-19 restrictions and requirements.

Following updated Government advice, Remembrance events organised by local authorities (including town and parish councils) and by faith leaders can still take place outdoors so long as a Covid-19 risk assessment is completed, and all reasonable measures to limit the risk of transmission of the virus are taken.
