Northumberland children invited to design Christmas card for RAF Boulmer personnel

RAF Boulmer’s annual Christmas card competition has been launched.

This year there will be two age categories to make things as fair as possible. Designs can be anything, as long as it is hand-drawn on our official entry form and contains the RAF Roundel.

The only rules are that you must be aged 4 to 11 and live in Northumberland.

One winner from each age category will win a £20 toy store voucher with one runner-up in each age category winning a £10 toy store voucher.

Both winning designs will be produced as official Christmas cards for 2020, which the Station Commander sends to personnel deployed over the Christmas period.

Completed entries can be scanned and sent by email to [email protected] or by post marked ‘Christmas Card Competition’ to the Media Office, RAF Boulmer, Alnwick, NE66 3JF. The closing date is October 26.
