She wants to return the favour and have a laugh at the same time, especially now with the NHS under enormous pressure.

Michelle said: “I’ve been keeping in touch with my tenants, family and friends to keep their spirits up. I said if I got over £500 I would do it. I got over that in 48 hours. We’re up to £805 so far.

“I almost feel guilty for not being put at risk as the nurses are. So I’m going to give something back and have my head shaved. It’s my way of giving back and raising a smile.

“When my two boys were born they had heart problems. So this is a thank you for that and to the people who are now keeping us safe. The frontline workers. I’m so grateful that they’ve been there for me.

“I’m going to have a mohican and my friend has given me some blue spray. We’re going to do it live of Facebook at 12 noon.”
