The amazing footage shows bottlenose dolphins jumping in and out of the North Sea off the coast of Berwick-Upon-Tweed in Northumberland.

We all know how stunning the Northumberland coast is – but it’s made even more breathtaking when you spot several dolphins having fun alongside a boat just a few hundred metres from the shore.

Bottlenose dolphins tend to prefer warm to temperate waters, which makes spotting them in the chilly North Sea a fairly rare but beautiful sight, though sightings are becoming increasingly more common.
