Every mum is special, and we want to give you the opportunity to tell the world how wonderful the women in your life are.

The pandemic has been tough for everyone – and love from our mums, stepmums, grandmothers, aunties, sisters and other special ladies has helped so many of us get through it.

So, this year we are giving you three ways you can show your love to mum ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 14.

Tell us your message in 50 words or less, who it is for and who it is from. Please ensure you use full names, not nicknames.

We will also need your contact details. We will not be able to publish any message sent without this information.

Once we have the written messages, we will then publish them in the last edition before Mother’s Day.

The deadline for Mother’s Day messages is 11pm on Thursday March 4.

If you are sending a video or selfie message, please include your mum’s name and your name. Then send them to [email protected]

Don’t miss the chance this Mother’s Day to say “love you”, “thank you” and “miss you” to that special mum figure in your life.

The dramatic events of the pandemic are having a major impact on many of our local valued advertisers and consequently the advertising that we receive.

We are now more reliant than ever on you helping us to provide you with news by buying a copy of our newspaper.

If you can, please do pick up a copy when you are at the shops.

Thank you for your support.
