Floral fountain in blooming good shape thanks to £500 grant from Northumberland Freemasons

Wooler is a blooming great place to visit thanks to a £500 donation from Northumberland Freemasons.

The Heart of Glendale Lodge presented the cheque to the Glendale Floral Society to go towards the fountain restoration project which the society and the Friends of Wooler Fountain Restoration are managing.

The fountain includes flower decorations, bird nesting boxes at the top and a solar-powered watering system. Benches and an information board will also be installed soon.
