Cramlington business on UK Startup Awards shortlist
A Cramlington-based business founded by entrepreneur Luke Henderson has been shortlisted for the ‘Startup for Good’ accolade at the UK Startup Awards.
NeuroMoney LTD has reached the regional finals for the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber. It is one of just six companies in its category to be recognised for delivering meaningful societal impact alongside strong growth potential.
The ‘Startup for Good’ award celebrates businesses that are creating positive change through innovation, with a focus on real-world outcomes.
NeuroMoney builds software tools specifically designed for neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism, to help them better manage their finances, save money and navigate everyday spending decisions.

It launched its minimum viable product on February 28 and has already begun to gain early traction, with more than 30 users trying the platform within its first two weeks live. NeuroMoney’s approach combines behavioural insight with practical tools aimed at improving financial independence and well-being.
Luke said: “The platform focuses on reducing financial stress by providing structured, accessible tools tailored to the needs of users who are often underserved by traditional financial products.
“This selection highlights the growing recognition of startups addressing underserved communities and building solutions with measurable social impact.”
The regional finals for the UK Startup Awards will take place on June 16 in Leeds, where winners for each category in the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber region will be announced.
The regional winners will then progress to the national finals at Ideas Fest later this year, where they will compete for the national ‘Startup for Good’ title.
