A Wooler woman received a surprise visit from care staff as she celebrated her 100th birthday.
Ruth Redpath, of Victoria Road, celebrated her century on Tuesday.Staff at Bell View Day Care in Belford – which Ruth attends two days a week - donned their uniforms and went to Ruth’s home where, socially distanced, they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ and presented her with a cake.Ruth also posed for a photograph with her card from The Queen.
