Car ends up on its roof after collision near Alnwick

A woman was taken to hospital for treatment after a collision in which a car overturned.

The incident happened at the junction of the A1 and B6347 near South Charlton, to the north of Alnwick

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At 3.30pm on Tuesday we received a report of a two vehicle collision near the Charlton Mires, Alnwick.

Emergency services attended and found a car on its roof. Drivers were checked at the scene by paramedics with one woman taken to hospital for further treatment.”
