The event raised almost £10,000 thanks to generous sponsorship by financial services company, Sage Wealth Management and the kind support of Newton Hall and other local businesses.

Amy Whyte, from Age UK Northumberland, said: “It was a terrific evening, but there was a very important purpose behind the event – to raise awareness and vital funds to support older people living in the county who are isolated, lonely and need our help.”

Michael Sage from Sage Wealth Management said: “It was our great pleasure to support this valuable event and help Age UK Northumberland to raise funds in support of their services.”

Other businesses supporting the event included the Northumberland Tartan Co, SK Click Events and Pictured Life Photography.
